Winchmore String Orchestra's concert on 18th November will be in aid of Water Aid.  Music has been chosen to reflect both the time of year and the time of day, but will range across the centuries and across Europe. With the festive season approaching and the nights getting longer we have chosen two timely themes for our end-of-year concert: Christmas; and music with nocturnal associations. Play in a Day - Chickenshed’s Autumn Half Term workshops for children aged 5 – 11 years. Over the course of an enjoyable day, children will participate in story-making, dancing, drama, singing and play. The children will work together in the morning to develop creative ideas that will then be developed in the afternoon – ending the day with a sharing of a short performance.
