Talkies - your local community cinema - launches its HERE Suburban Film Festival' on Friday 22 February with a Mike Leigh film shot in Enfield during Thatcher's Britain and continues through March with a feast of suburban stories. Talkies is also very proud to premiere six new short films from rising stars of the film world, commissioned by Talkies for the festival, using locations in our area of North London. The festival closes on Talkies' 200th event milestone with the classic 'Blues Brothers' with live music intro.
