Pupils at an Enfield primary school have collaborated with their music teacher to make a single about climate change and a YouTube video where the children talk about the threat of global rising temperatures and the part that reforestation can play in reducing the rate of temperature increase. Donating just £10 will help Noah’s Ark build North London’s only children’s hospice building and support more than 1,200 babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. The Ark will complement our existing Hospice-at-Home services, providing 24-hour end-of-life, post-death and bereavement care, overnight stays and sensory, music and art rooms.

The following figures are taken from a press release regarding London Councils' pre-budget submission
London has experienced significant funding cuts
The 2017-18 local government finance settlement confirmed cuts to core funding of 26% in real terms over 3 years. This comes on top of a cumulative cut to core funding of over 50% in real terms since 2010-11, meaning core funding from central government to councils will have fallen by 63% in real terms over the decade to 2019-20.

Play in a Day - Chickenshed’s Autumn Half Term workshops for children aged 5 – 11 years.
Over the course of an enjoyable day, children will participate in story-making, dancing, drama, singing and play.
The children will work together in the morning to develop creative ideas that will then be developed in the afternoon – ending the day with a sharing of a short performance.
The workshops are on Monday 23 October, Tuesday 24 October and Wednesday 25 October from 10am.......

Splendour & Sparkle will be launching "Cooking Champions" in September 2017 - cooking lessons for children with an emphasis on healthy living.
Lessons will take place at Palmers Green United Reformed Church (Fox Lane/Burford Gardens) on Thursday afternoons. Times will be as follows:
Preschool 2pm-3pm
5 to 9 year olds 3:15pm - 4:15pm
11 to 14 year olds 4:30pm - 6pm

Enfield Council is consulting residents about its proposals to reduce the number of children's centres. Like other council services, spending reductions are required because of severe reductions in central government funding. The council's budget for children's centres is reducing from £1.6m to £1.03m per year.
The proposal is to reduce the number of children's centres hubs from four to one. The single hub would have "satellites" at schools throughout the borough.
