'Face Front run several inclusive and participatory arts groups for adults and young people in North and East London. The groups include disabled and neurodivergent participants who range in age and group size. Many of our groups work towards creating collaboratively devised ensemble performances that are presented in professional theatre venues. We are looking for creative, energetic, patient and collaborative practitioners to widen our pool of music based facilitators'.

This year is the fiftieth anniversary of the song Happy Xmas (War is Over) by John & Yoko and the Plastic Ono Band, and to celebrate this milestone Yoko Ono and Sean Ono Lennon have presented seven music-related organisations with hand-cut acetates of the record to help them raise funds for their individual good causes. One of the seven is Collage Arts, based just down the line in Wood Green's Cultural Quarter.

Chickenshed has opened booking for the autumn season of Sunday Shed workshops for kids, whether little or big (ages 5 to 18). These are drop-in sessions designed to spark an interest in many aspects of performance - acting, dance, music - and develop skills and confidence (not to mention having a lot of fun on the side).

Southgate Opera and Winchmore Hill-based ELODS are among four musical theatre companies that perform at Wyllyots Theatre in Potters Bar. This month they have launched a series of YouTube videos of special performances celebrating musical theatre, all recorded out of lockdown at Wyllyots. They're free, but you're encouraged to contribute to fundraising in support of Wyllyots and NHS Charities Together.

The new Tier 2 criteria mean that we won't be able to bring you any live blues at the Southgate Club for a while. The Southgate Club is either a concert venue, in which case no alcohol, or a bar in which alcohol can be served only with a substantial meal; in either case it just isn't viable. Thanks to Mark Hawkins' filming and editing skills we now have more offerings for you on the St Harmonica's You Tube Channel with That Blue Patch and the Cadillac Kings' performances from October 30th now available.

A new single written by two musicians from Palmers Green vividly portrays life on the NHS frontline at the height of the pandemic. Working on the Frontline was written by Kate St John and Neill McColl and is performed by BAFTA-nominated actor and singer Jessie Buckley and her band Jessie & The Leonards.
