Thanks to sunny weather and hard work by organisers, volunteers and stallholders, the 2024 PG Festival was a splendid success, attracting a large number of well behaved visitors who clearly were enjoying themselves. If you were one of them, the Friends of Broomfield Park would like to know what you liked about the Festival and what ideas you have for future improvements.

As always, there will be live music and a DJ at the Bandstand during Sunday's Palmers Green Festival. This year the music stage is being organised by Clare Donovan of the wonderful food charity Cooking Champions that is doing so much to feed hungry residents and to revive the once widespread art of home cooking.

One month until the festivals season starts in Broomfield Park. This year's Summer Festival follows the same successful formula as last year's - something for all ages and tastes: a mixture of live music, open-air theatre and musicals and fine dining under the apple trees. Then on 3rd September - the return of the Big One - the Palmers Green Festival itself!

As It Was: A festival of poetry, puppets, portraits and performance

In celebration of their 23rd birthday, join Enfield Poets for an afternoon-long literary party of poetry, performance and film on 13th January at the newly reopened (and rechristened) Dugdale Arts Centre. Special guests will be celebrated poet and author Maggie Brookes-Butt, and winner of the Costa Poetry Award and Costa Book of the Year 2021, Hannah Lowe. The festival commences at 11.30 with a free two-hour "poemathon" before moving into the theatre for the rest of the afternoon. Audiences.......

Broomfield Summer Festival runs from June to September, using the 'Broomfield Bowl' - a former bowling green repurposed for live outdoor events.
