Rebuilding the Tin Tabernacle

North London Samaritans have been given a Big Lottery Fund grant of £545,0000 to rebuild a former "Tin Tabernacle" to use as a centre for their lifesaving work and to provide a new communitiy facility for Bowes Park. Enfield Council is urging staff, residents and politicians to support the North Enfield Foodbank. The Council is linking this call to Mitzvah Day, on which by Jewish tradition people give their time to help others. This year Mitzvah Day falls on 27th November.
