Enfield Council is inviting community groups to bid for grants of up to £60,000 to fund projects that will help develop their neighbourhoods and improve the day-to-day lives of communities. The Enfield Community Fund, totalling £1.4 million, will disburse the 15 per cent of developers' Community Infrastructure Levy contributions which is ringfenced for local projects.

Yet another first for Talkies Community Cinema! They're teaming up with the Friends of Broomfield Park to put on another spectacular show in the park, but unlike in August, when rain stopped play, this time they'll be under cover, as for the first time they show a film in a tent - a very big tent, with room for social distancing.
A new 'social hub' for Enfield residents aged 50 and above is launching soon and the organisers are inviting people to join. The project is being run by the Enfield Asian Welfare Association (EAWA), but people from all communities will be welcome.

While you can still visit the actual, real, physical park (taking social distancing precautions, of course), the Friends this week launched their Virtual Flower Show, which you can take part in and enjoy without leaving home.
