The catalyst for My Time was a great group of bakers that were close to the owners and the need for really great speciality coffee and premium quality teas in Palmers Green, plus living in Palmers Green it was all the incentive needed.
Our bakers are local, based in the Enfield area and we get to sell their great cakes, mainly good old fashioned layer cakes and tray bakes, and some amazing cheesecakes.
Our teas and coffees come from directly traded, independent farms and estates that use no pesticides or herbicides in the production process and are traceable but above all give sustainability to the farms and communities helping to build infrastructure. We believe the coffee and teas to be the best in Palmers Green but if you don’t agree after tasting, then there’ll be no charge.
From starting with cakes, coffee and tea we have expanded our menu to include breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea menus, including “free from” foods such as gluten free, dairy free, vegan, caffeine and refined sugar free options. Making us more inclusive and allowing families with different dietary needs to eat out together.
We have some great comfort food such as porridge, omelettes, brunch items, pizza, pie & mash, hearty warming soups, and our wonderful range of fillings on brown seeded ciabattas or baguettes baked in house. We also have a tasty gluten and wheat free bread option for sandwiches or toast.
Our café has a great retro vibe about it giving a real funky feel and a range of vinyl records (growing daily) and books for you to peruse. We exhibit work from budding artists and also host pop up shops for those in the community who don’t necessarily have a shop front to sell their range of homebased craft products and designs.
At My Time you can also come along and work as we have free Wi-Fi. We also cater for business meetings, small events, launches or clubs. From time to time we host our own events so keep an eye on our Facebook page or website.
