Question 1.  What do think is good about the area?

Good  -safe, clean streets. Good bus services, especially the reliable W9. Pleasant green spaces.

Question 2.  What do you think is less good about the area?

Less good  -inevitable increase in traffic clogs our streets. Difficulties with parking, meters expensive

Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?

Improve – some pavement slabs are still askew after last winters extreme weather – hazardous for walkers

Question 4a. Specific aspects – traffic

Traffic – more solar powered speeding reminders are needed in the following roads: Aldermans hill, and in each of the roads running from fox lane through to Aldermans hill

Parking – too expensive

Clutter- is the decorative railing, by the newly planted tree at the fork of fox lane and bourne hill really necessary?

Question 4d. Specific aspects – look of the shops/architecture

Look of shops  -there should be conservation orders on the late Victorian / Edwardian shop fronts to preserve them and their elegance.

Question 4e. Specific aspacts – type and range of shops

Type of shops – charity shops are lively, fun and great for bargain hunters, but in palmers Green we have enough now!

Question 4g. Specific aspects – the Triangle public space

Triangle  -the zebra crossing from WH Smith side to the central reservation at the Triangle is often ignored by motorist who are turning left from green lanes

Question 4h. Specific aspects – Greenery

Enfield is a fine “green” borough. Yes to planters, wherever they may be placed. Ask more local businesses to sponsor planters
