The ever enterprising Brian Lewis has converted his cake, coffee and tea house in Green Lanes into Palmers Green's first deli specialising in organic and artisan food and drinks. MyTime, closed since lockdown struck, reopened earlier this week, appearing unchanged on the outside but quite different inside.
Brian is selling organic fruit and veg, beers brewed in north London, cider from Hertfordshire, Old Bakery gin and whisky (made in N13) and vegan wines. The deli counter features Wildes cheeses, made in Tottenham. The emphasis is on selling ingredients for people to use at home to create meals, but the lunch counter is still there, selling among other things salads made from the same produce as is sold in the shop.
