While we admire and support the Christmas campaigns that we see pop up in December, we also know that help is urgently needed all year round, each and every year. As some people pack away after the festive break, we are still here.
Our support is not limited to a food package, but it leaps beyond - we form connections, we listen and respond to everyone who steps through our doors. We open up a warm, safe, environment which aims to feel like a home away from home.

More than a month of almost daily donations of gifts, time and experiences has brought smiles and 'happy tears' to the faces of patients and staff at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, prompting Trust senior leaders to send out a community-wide 'Thankyou' for the incredible generosity. From major companies to small community groups, and professional sports stars to individual families and former patients, the donations have ranged from toys and games, to clothes and snacks - and even a mini ride-on electric car!
Friends of Broomfield Park are celebrating the end of an event-packed year for Palmers Green's favourite park, during which more than 13,000 people visited to take part in activities including music, theatre, dance, storytelling, well-being, apple tasting, food and much more. Dates of the 2020 events are already on the Friends' website.
Pupils at an Enfield primary school have collaborated with their music teacher to make a single about climate change and a YouTube video where the children talk about the threat of global rising temperatures and the part that reforestation can play in reducing the rate of temperature increase. All profits will go to the TreesForCities charity.

People living in Fox Lane and surrounding streets are welcoming Enfield Council's idea of closing roads to create low-traffic neighbourhood (LTN) throughout the area and are calling on other residents to voice their support.
Volunteers are sought to help run the Palmers Green Youth Provision, which aims to empower young people to learn important life skills, to be involved in activities which will help boost their confidence and self-esteem and to create a sense of belonging.
