While we admire and support the Christmas campaigns that we see pop up in December, we also know that help is urgently needed all year round, each and every year. As some people pack away after the festive break, we are still here.
Our support is not limited to a food package, but it leaps beyond - we form connections, we listen and respond to everyone who steps through our doors. We open up a warm, safe, environment which aims to feel like a home away from home.
For us to continue to thrive and grow, and keep supporting as many people as possible, we are asking you to become a Friend of Cooking Champions. Even a donation of just £5-10 per month can make a HUGE impact on the lives of those who come through our doors.
Pop to our People's Fundraising page to donate, and we promise to keep you updated with how your support is making a difference. Thank you, we appreciate you! Team Cooking Champions

Clare Rogers makes the case for low-traffic neighbourhoods. This article was originally published on the Better Streets for Enfield website.
Would you let your child or grandchild play out on your street? Do you feel able to ride a bike around your neighbourhood? Or does the traffic put you off? For many of us, streets in our residential areas have become conduits for through traffic, rather than places where residents can walk, cycle, meet or play.
Yet in countries like the Netherlands,.......
Hello everyone at Palmers Green Community,
My name is Patrick, I live in Palmers Green (since 2004) and I am autistic. My condition is challenging and complex but over the past 6 months I have been finding a lot of peace and happiness in art and art therapy. It's been reducing the irritability and aggression, along with the effects of marked anxiety and low mood, which I am also diagnosed with. I am supported by Enfield Complex Care, the Maudsley Hospital and the National Autistic.......

Increased police focus on enforcing safe passing of cycle riders by drivers of cars and trucks, originally associated with West Midlands Police, is gradually spreading to other forces, including the Met. Enfield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has decided to continue funding three "primary care access hubs" but not to commission a fourth hub to serve the north east of the borough. The hubs, which can be used by any patient registered at a practice in Enfield, provide GP services between 6.30pm and 8pm on weekdays and between 8am and 8pm at weekends.
Because weekday evening appointments have proved the most popular, the CCG is arranging to switch some appointments from Sundays to.......
