Help the Woodman survive the Corvid-19 crisis
We took on the Woodman pub in May last year as a temporary position, the brewery had the property on the market due to how poorly it was run by previous owners. We convinced the brewery to give us a chance to turn it into a viable business once again. With a 3 month time limit and only being able to offer drinks as the kitchen had to be completed stripped out for safety reasons.
Lots of hard work and lots of support from our lovely customers we proved and convinced the brewery to take the pub off the market and refurbish the kitchen. On the 1st of December we where finally able to launch our food menu and the pub was thriving .
Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic we have been hit hard. As a new business there is no financial support from the government available to us. We understand that many more are in the same boat and this is a very tough time for everyone.
We have really enjoyed giving the community their pub back and would love nothing more than to keep on doing so. Myself and Stacie are so grateful for all the support we have received from all of our customers and we couldn't of got this far without you.
A little extra help is greatly needed at the moment to keep this dream alive, to stay strong and ready to re open when it is safe to do so. We have the uncertainty of not knowing how long will this last for and as this business was our only source of income we now need as much help as we can, to get through this difficult time. Stacie and I believe that when this nightmare is over for all of us we can restart the business as we did before all of this happened
