The annual May Day Fair on Southgate Green will take place on Monday 1st May from 11am to 4pm. The May Day Fair is organised by Christ Church Southgate with the support of the Southgate & Highlands ATC & the Hatters Explorer Scouts, who will also benefit from the funds raised. This year there will be an emphasis on sustainability, with a ‘Green’ theme to events and competitions. This year the main beneficiary will be Haven House Children’s Hospice (Charity Number 1044296).
Christ Church is seeking sponsors, performers (drama, dance, poetry or music).
Nominations are welcome for the 2017 May Queen, Attendants and Page Boys.
The children's art and photography competition will be on the theme of "Green Southgate".
