The Friends of Broomfield Park's Conservatory Group have published a list of the special events that will be taking place this year in the hidden jewel in our local park.

There will be events for gardeners and music lovers, as well as for kids and for people of all ages wishing to improve their artistic or culinary skills.

On Sunday 4th June Conservatory Group chair Elizabeth Dobbie will again be opening her garden in Arnos Park to the public.

Broomfield Conservatory is open on Sundays and Wednesdays from 2.30pm to 4.30pm (2pm to 4pm during the winter months). Entry is completely free, but voluntary contributions are always welcome, as they pay for the planting and other materials used by volunteers.

All the events listed below are on Sunday afternoons during normal Conservatory opening hours.

2nd April Houseplant sale
30th April Sale of tomato plants
7th May Chilli plants on sale
28th May Marc's Music
Local musician Marc Harris will be singing and playing guitar
4th June Open Garden at Arnos Park Lodge
A chance to visit a lovely garden, enjoy some tea and cakes and grab some bargains from the plant sale
18th June Drawing workshop
for people of all ages and abilities
23rd July Music from Nicki Hart
Listen to Nicki's ethereal music while enjoying the Conservatory's tranquil atmosphere
20th August Food preparation using chilli peppers and tomatoes
3rd September Plant sale
Part of the 2023 Palmers Green Festival
17th September Marc's Music
A second chance to enjoy Marc's excellent guitar and vocals
8th October Children's autumn craft activity
