I've seen lots of press about the “The Enfield Haunting”, a 3 part TV drama later this year. Apparently this is the most documented account of spookiness in British history. It happened in Enfield in 1977.
Jason Hollis’ book, “Haunted Enfield”, was also highlighted on the palmersgreenn13.com blog.
Could all this spookiness be a theme for a “Talkies” cinema screening?
Maybe the ghost said to live in the Fox would make a guest appearance!

The author of Haunted Enfield said he discovered "tales of witchcraft and devil worship in Winchmore HIll". Let's hope that the witchcraft stopped at the boundary between Winchmore Hill and Palmers Green!

Basil hopes that Winchmore Hill’s witchcraft stopped at the Palmers Green boundary. Let’s hope he means N13 / N21 rather than the ward boundary because an awful lot of what is usually thought of as Palmers Green is in Winchmore Hill Ward.
Tomorrow's eclipsing supermoon, according to many worldwide superstitions, an uncommon night full of terrors, might give us some clues as to just where the boundary is!
Safe viewing sheet provided – but remember that’s for the sun, not any associated terror.
