One thing that really gets up my nose about Palmers Green are the inconsiderate parkers who don't park up to boundary lines or adjacent cars, or who park a single vehicle in the middle of a space that could accommodate two cars, thus depriving another car of the means to park. At about 9.30 this evening around Park Avenue and Kingsley Road there were spaces for at least another six cars were it not for the random parking of several of those that were already there. No doubt they complain loud and long when they themselves can't find a space for a similar reason - or perhaps they don't notice. How much time and energy (and fuel) is wasted touring the area looking for parking spaces (and the frustration of seeing the spaces that might have been) when so many more could easily be available with a little thought on the part of individual parkers?

And I guess easily resolved by painting vehicle sized lines in the places as per car parks.

Just sometimes cars do park right up to the "next one" optimising space as then was and yet when that car, and maybe others, move away they can be left looking stranded and in that category of inconsiderate parkers. Not always what it seems at first glance.
Same old too many cars / not enough road space equation at the root of it all in reality
