As a member of a foundation, Overloon War Chronicles, also i do research on the 281 men, mostly UK, buried on the Overloon war cemetery (CWGC). Just before the weekend, i received an old letter, where following information was mentioned:
REED, Sjt Frank Thomas service number 2657821, 3rd (8th Bn. The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers) Regt. Reconaissance Corps, , 1944. Age 27.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney John Reed; husband of Maud Ellen Reed, of Palmer's Green, Middlesex.
I should like to get in touch with this heroe's family, to exchange information. One of our foundation's goals is to give the men in the graves a face, and tell visitors about the last days of the men's life. It is therefor that i should like to get in contact with the family.
