Forum topic: First aiders needed for the PG Festival

It’s worth highlighting the “why”: The British Red Cross had supported festival in previous years (paid basis) but, “Due to a constant high demand and ever-rising costs associated with providing first aid, the charity now has to be very selective in terms of the events that we agree to cover, and regrettably these smaller events have been assessed to not be the most cost-effective use of our limited resources.” So it’s not to be in 2018 and a little last minute for us to work with. An approach has been made to St John Ambulance, but their decision is not possible until incredibly close to festival itself.
