Forty Hall Farm, which occupies part of the historic Forty Hall Estate in northern Enfield, is a certified organic farm.  It's a mixed farm with a variety of animals, including many rare breeds and is home to London's only commercial organic vineyard, a community orchard, market garden and farm shop.

The farm is run by Capel Manor College, the only further education college in London specialising in learning about the environment.  It serves as an educational resource for Capel Manor’s students, across a range of part and full-time courses, including those within the College’s Animal Care, Countryside Management, and Horticulture departments

There are plenty of volunteering opportunities, both for individuals and corporate volunteering events.

Events on the Farm

Forty Hall Farm plays host to musical events, including the annual Livestock festival and monthly Music from the Black Barn.

For children the Farm is the location of a Forest School.

For food lovers there is the annual Enfield Food Festival at August Bank Holiday and an Apple Fair in October.

Veg bags

The Enfield Veg Co delivers weekly bags to eight drop-off points, including Baskervilles in Palmers Green, the Kings Head in Winchmore Hill and Millfield House in Silver Street, Edmonton.

There are many old fruit trees in people's back gardens throughout Enfield borough. These are of interest to the Community Orchard at Forty Hall Farm, who will try to identify them. You can get in touch via the orchard's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/FHFOrchard or by emailing .

While we admire and support the Christmas campaigns that we see pop up in December, we also know that help is urgently needed all year round, each and every year. As some people pack away after the festive break, we are still here.

Our support is not limited to a food package, but it leaps beyond - we form connections, we listen and respond to everyone who steps through our doors. We open up a warm, safe, environment which aims to feel like a home away from home.

For us to continue to thrive and grow, and keep supporting as many people as possible, we are asking you to become a Friend of Cooking Champions. Even a donation of just £5-10 per month can make a HUGE impact on the lives of those who come through our doors.

Pop to our People's Fundraising page to donate, and we promise to keep you updated with how your support is making a difference. Thank you, we appreciate you! Team Cooking Champions
