Youth Justice Service volunteers have many faces, could you be one of them?

Enfield Youth Justice Service (YJS) needs volunteers who:
- are concerned about youth crime and serious youth violence
- are able to engage with children and young people
- would like to be part of the restorative justice process
- can work with children and young people who offend to help support a change in their behaviours and actions
- can help us to help our children and young people to make Enfield a better place to live and work
- are able to commit to volunteering for 12 months or more
We need volunteers who can...
- Help our children to make Enfield a better place to live and work
- Support children to achieve their full potential
- Help communication between those harmed by crime and those responsible for the harm
Requirements
- Must reside or work in the London Borough of Enfield (18+)
- Support the work of the YJS by committing to minimum 6 hours per month
- Can work afternoons and evenings
- Undertake an enhanced DBS check
What we give you
- Full training and support to facilitate Referral Order Panels and community service activities
- Ability to engage with children and their parents/carers to support change
- Reasonable expenses paid
