I've taken the liberty of stealing this wonderful photo from a tweet by Karin Koonin entitled "Beautiful walk this morning here in N13".

But where in N13? Two places occur to me:

1. Near the bridge connecting Park Avenue to Hazelwood Rec, looking towards Hedge Lane

2. Near where the New River emerges from the tunnel south of the North Circular, looking towards Whittington Road.

Anyone able to confirm?

From the sublime (the photo of the New River above) to the somewhat ridiculous.

Since Monday this cheery chappie has been standing in the cold outside the former school in Fox Lane greeting passers-by. I hope everyone walking past has returned the greeting!

Thank you for using my picture! The answer is B, looking south where the New River emerges from under the North Circular, next to Russell Road. The heron is there almost every day at the moment :-)
