Forum topic: Volunteers - Introducing children to local wildlife and nature

It's vital for children to explore and understand the natural world and experience their local environment and wildlife , so the  Friends of Broomfield Park  welcomes local schools to the park with activities aimed at Year 1-2 children (five and six year olds). The school visits project is  detailed on the FoBP website  We have a small team of  volunteers who lead the activities, but we need more people to help out on the visit days. If you are interested we have organised a 'meet-and-greet' day in April where you are invited to come and find out what we do and how you could get involved.
