Forum topic: Lodge Drive car park "parking fines" scam

Warning from the Safer Neighbourhood team:

Please don't listen to the males who are saying they are helping you to avoid a parking fine in Lodge Drive / Car Park. Two older victims last week, one for bad parking and the other to buy a ticket were assisted by two males who took their bank cards in the process.

Previously victims have been asked to pay for fines at the cash point on Lodge Drive and their cards have been taken after they have inputted their PIN while they've been distracted.

Please make elderly relatives and neighbours aware of the above. You would never be asked to pay for fines at cash machines or car parking machines.
