To bring Enfield in line with the rest of London, our CAPE's will now be called Ward Panels. Nothing else changes. These closed, crime focused, meetings differ from our ward councillor led Ward Forums, which are open-to-anyone meetings and cover a wide range of local issues.
Adjacent wards of Winchmore Hill and Highfields are light on Ward Panel (aka CAPE) members, so if anyone in those wards is interested, now is a great time.
Police in a nearby ward have just circulated this "how to report" reminder.
HOW TO REPORT CRIME/ ASB Call 999 if:
  • A serious offence is in progress or has just happened
  • Someone is in immediate danger of harm
  • Property is in danger of being damaged
  • A serious disruption to the public is likely
Report online or call 101 if you want to report a minor crime or incident, such as:
  • A stolen item
  • Property damage
  • A civil dispute
  • If you suspect drug use or dealing in your neighbourhood
  • To share information about possible criminal activity in your area
  • Antisocial behaviour
  • Non-urgent enquiries
You can report online by searching MET POLICE REPORT ONLINE

While we admire and support the Christmas campaigns that we see pop up in December, we also know that help is urgently needed all year round, each and every year. As some people pack away after the festive break, we are still here.

Our support is not limited to a food package, but it leaps beyond - we form connections, we listen and respond to everyone who steps through our doors. We open up a warm, safe, environment which aims to feel like a home away from home.

For us to continue to thrive and grow, and keep supporting as many people as possible, we are asking you to become a Friend of Cooking Champions. Even a donation of just £5-10 per month can make a HUGE impact on the lives of those who come through our doors.

Pop to our People's Fundraising page to donate, and we promise to keep you updated with how your support is making a difference. Thank you, we appreciate you! Team Cooking Champions
