A reminder from Enfield Police about the OWL online watch link.

owl flyer

Owl is a website that the residents of Enfield can sign up to and become a member of several watches which Enfield signed up to, which are Neighbourhood watch, CCTV watch, canal watch and dog watch. The residents will then receive messages from us depending on their ward or if the message is relevant to the whole borough then every member would receive it. It is similar to an online neighbourhood watch but the police are able to send vital messages through to the residents that could help in the fight against crime, give advice about how to protect yourselves and your property, advertising upcoming events and much more.

It’s a great platform that can be used by police and residents alike and the more that sign up for it the better it will be for all.

The last PG ward panel (see this report dated 7 June ) concluded we could all do our bit to reduce crime levels. One of the simplest was to download the OWL app, or sign up for e mails via www.owl.co.uk, to both hear what is going on and get prompts what to do about it. And more. OWL users were recently surveyed, and the results just released. Pretty impressive it’s fair to say, and even though I was personally tardy and didn’t respond, PG users make up the second highest group in the borough. It's free.
