Enfield archive and local studies unit moving to Ridge Avenue Library

Having lost the purpose built and nationally accredited archive and local studies unit in the Dugdale Centre, as a result of office relocation, plans are underway to restore it in the Ridge Avenue Library.

The archive will be located in the basement, hopefully with air conditioning and national re-accreditation. The studies centre is intended to be on the ground floor, possibly with even more terminals than before.

After two years uncertainty this is welcome news.
