Police have issued an appeal for information after a teenager was stabbed in a Palmers Green restaurant.
The incident happened shortly before 3pm yesterday (Tuesday), when emergency services were called to Green Lanes.
The police have not revealed the name of the restaurant where the stabbing took place, but they cordoned off two cars parked on the east side of Green Lanes, nearly opposite the Palmers Green Triangle traffic island, and an overturned motorcycle located between them.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “At around 2.50pm on Tuesday, 15th April police were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of a man being stabbed in a restaurant on Green Lanes, N13.
“Officers attended the scene and one man, aged 19, was taken to hospital for stab wounds. His injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests have been made at this early stage and investigations remain ongoing.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.47pm yesterday (Tuesday 15 April) to reports of a stabbing in Green Lanes, Southgate.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a member of our Tactical Response Unit, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.
“The first of our crews arrived in less than a minute.
“Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to a London major trauma centre by road.”
