The National Park City Foundation is looking for another 50 volunteer London National Park City Rangers to share their vision for a greener, healthier and wilder London. New year, new you? What if in 2021 you joined our community of Rangers who aim to make life better in London National Park City?

The North London Hospice is recruiting more "Compassionate Neighbours" to play vital roles by offering their time to people with life-limiting illness who are experiencing loneliness or social isolation. Regular visits, companionship or just a listening ear can really make a difference.

Local community interest company (CIC) Cooking Champions are offering another menu for home delivery or takeaway, and this time the theme is Middle Eastern. All profits go towards funding the various community food projects that Cooking Champions are involved in. Since the pandemic arrived, Cooking Champions have provided thousands of hot meals for people who need them.

Cooking Champions are currently providing weekly food packages to support individuals and families across Enfield borough. They have a list of items which they require. Please take donations to St Peter's Church, Grange Park, on Tuesdays or Thursdays, 10am to 4pm.

The Covid pandemic has seriously undermined Age UK Enfield's finances, while at the same time greatly increasing demand for its services. To help it cope, the charity has launched a winter appeal under the slogan Spread the Warmth, Show You Care.

The Covid Community Campaign has been launched by Dame Louise Casey and London Councils, with the Mayor of London and leading national food poverty charities the Trussell Trust, FareShare, Magic Breakfast and Social Bite also lending their support. It aims to build on this year's incredible community spirit and make sure everyone has what they need to get by as we approach the coldest months of the year.
