Haven House Emergency Appeal
At this time of great uncertainty, we are thinking of our local community more than ever.
No one is immune from the effects of Coronavirus. The reality is that it threatens our existence and now hundreds of seriously ill children and families who depend on the care given by our front line nurses may no longer receive that essential support.
Every day children and families need our help but now more so than ever.
Families tell us that we are their lifeline, especially now and we cannot let them face this alone. The impact that Coronavirus is already having on our vulnerable children and families could be devastating. |
We must now:
- Prioritise emergency care and support for life-limited children
- Work hand in hand with local hospitals and the NHS to increase their capacity to cope with this pandemic
- Ensure our key workers and essential critical nurses are available 24/7 to respond to the demand for our hospice services where access is limited.
All of the services our families receive are now under threat.
We face a dramatic drop in our income and we expect to lose more than £500,000 in the next three months alone.
All our fundraising events for the foreseeable future are cancelled or postponed impacting on our ability to raise funds to provide specialist critical care. Sadly, we have also taken the decision to close our shops which we rely on heavily for funds.
Haven House families face a crisis and we need your help.
Donate now and help us support all our vulnerable children and families.
Every penny will go directly to our Emergency Fund, which will help seriously ill children get through this incredibly difficult time and keep your local children's hospice running.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. We will keep you updated in any way we can.
