Chase Community School: Planning for our future
I am emailing on behalf of the project team bringing forward proposals to regenerate Chace Community School in Enfield. We would like to invite you to attend our public exhibition in the school hall from 5.00-8.30pm on Thursday 16th November where you can view the detailed plans, meet members of the project team and share your feedback.
The current layout and building stock at Chace Community School are inefficient and energy intensive. The Department for Education (DfE) has tasked Bowmer + Kirkland, main contractor, with planning for the future of the school; to better accommodate students and staff, reduce costs, increase useable external space and provide improved facilities for the local community to share.
The plans represent a major investment from the DfE and a more welcoming, attractive and safe environment to teach and learn. The regeneration will meet the latest standards of sustainable building regulations and will be largely constructed off-site to help minimise disruption to neighbours.
If you are unable to attend, the exhibition display will be available on the project website along with a feedback form after the event chacecommunityplans.co.uk
We are asking people to share their feedback by 26th November 2023. Once we have carefully reviewed all feedback received a planning application will be submitted to the local planning authority.
