Question 1.  What do think is good about the area?

Good – good shops and banks post office and supermarkets within walking distance

Question 2.  What do you think is less good about the area?

Less good – outlets closing down, empty shops, CCTV cameras, overzealous, can’t even stop to drop off

Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?

Improve – reduce business rates to encourage trade, reduction for new trade for two years

Question 4a. Specific aspects – traffic

Traffic – 20mph speed limit surrounding area

Traffic (Hedge Lane) – pedestrian light green man crossing it will reduce accidents in this black spot

Question 4b. Specific aspects – parking

Supports ½ hr parking

Doesn’t support Sunday parking charges

Question 4c. Specific aspects – clutter

Clutter  -lamp posts badly placed

Question 4e. Specific aspacts – type and range of shops

Type of shops – free car park behind Iceland would be an enormous benefit

Question 4f. Specific aspects – amount and use of pavement space

Pavement space – sign banning bikes

Question 4g. Specific aspects – the Triangle public space

Triangle / clock – fund raising point. More bench seats. Demolish – the toilets. Make more space for recreation, eg Christmas tree etc
