[Green Lanes Business Association survey]

Question 1. What do think is good about the area?

we have a wide range of shops; I have worked in this area over ten years. I can do all my shopping at lunch times.

Question 2. What do you think is less good about the area?

we should have free parking for the people who work in this area. We can have a pass to display on our windscreen. It is very hard to find a space that is near.

Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?

I think that people who work in this area should be given free parking slots and not have to pay and display. Maybe more police surveillance in the area especially evenings

Question 4a. Specific aspects – traffic

cars sometimes drive too fast on Aldermans Hill. Maybe we can have a speed light flashing 30mph only.

Hedge Lane Traffic – we need more Pelican crossings there or zebra crossings

½ hr free parking in town centre, or even 1hr or 2 hrs

This would encourage me to use the town centre more because we can do all our shopping here and and eat out

No Sunday parking charges

Question 4c. Specific aspects – clutter

More dustbins around the area, more road sweepers around the park the leaves can be slippery and dangerous.
