Good – the great sense of community. Broomfield park is lovely

Less good – the high street is a bit shabby
Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?
Improve – the high street and in particular the retail mix. Also a clean up of the pigeon mess outside the empty shop opposite video shop. This must constitute a health hazard if nothing else.

Traffic – lots of cars jump the traffic lights especially near the video shop. Can cameras be brought in as a deterrent?

Parking- too expensive and not enough spaces

Clutter –not an issue
Question 4d. Specific aspects – look of the shops/architecture
Look of shops – mixed: some shop fronts / signs not very attractive but it may be too expensive for the independent shop owners to replace. Maybe a loan / bus. Rate discount could be given to those who improve ?? appearance

Pavement – not really an issue

Triangle – needs some sort of feature. Maybe a memorial?

Greenery – there aren’t any on the high street. Flower planters would be agood improvement.
