Question 1.  What do think is good about the area?

Good – the variety – shops, green space. It also feels safe.

Question 2.  What do you think is less good about the area?

Less good – too many pound type shops selling similar wares

Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?

Improve – new ???? shops. More for children eg craft, pottery shops. A decent bookshop

Question 4a. Specific aspects – traffic

Traffic – traffic can be too fast on Aldermans hill

Question 4b. Specific aspects – parking

Parking – generally good

Question 4c. Specific aspects – clutter

Clutter – generally good

Question 4d. Specific aspects – look of the shops/architecture

Look of shops – some shop s look untidy and in need of maintenance

Question 4e. Specific aspacts – type and range of shops

Type of shops – bookshop; children’s craft / potters shop or the like. Space for toddler / children’s groups. Decent clothes, gift, delicatessen, butchers, fish shops

Question 4f. Specific aspects – amount and use of pavement space

Pavements –could do more eg table, chairs, alfresco eating

Question 4g. Specific aspects – the Triangle public space

Triangle – could be more attractive eg grass / flowers and / or use for local events and days
