This week's PGC newsletter wrongly stated that the Palmers Greenery cafe is still opening on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and at weekends. Unfortunately, I missed Thursday's Facebook announcement from the Greenery team saying that they were closing, with a heavy heart. Apologies if you went on a wild goose chase as a consequence (though a walk in Broomfield Park is always a good idea anyway, weather permitting).
The Greenery steering team took the difficult decision to close in order to protect the safety of volunteers. They say that the Greenery is already being missed by volunteers and the local community and assure everyone that they will re-open as soon as they possibly can.
