Enterprise Enfield leads on Covid-19 business recovery with opening of new North London Business Hub
Enterprise Enfield, the BEIS approved enterprise agency which has been providing valuable support services to start ups and established business owners for over 35 years, will be moving its operations to Southgate in August and opening a new North London Business Hub dedicated to helping businesses recover and grow in these ‘new normal’ times.
With the Covid-19 pandemic having such a devastating impact on the economy, businesses are looking for effective ways in which to recover and sustain their trading activity. The new North London Business Hub, will be poised to offer an expanding range of services to help business owners with resilience strategies and recovery through this challenging period. Enterprise Enfield will also offer start up advice, webinars and support to people who may have lost their jobs and are looking for new ways to make a living by becoming self-employed or starting a new business.
Situated in the Southgate campus of Barnet and Southgate College, the North London Business Hub is supported by the College and is a fantastic opportunity for both organisations to work more closely together to foster enterprise and support businesses in the north London area.
The new Hub comprises a very large co-working area with super-fast broadband, meeting rooms and event space - which, when the pandemic restrictions are eased, will be open to businesses for hot-desking, networking events and workshops. Initially, businesses will have the opportunity to take advantage of a 6-month Introductory Hub Package at the heavily subsidised rate of £20 per month, which will include:
- A mailing address and mailbox
- Monthly business mentoring sessions with an expert adviser - via video call or phone
- Free Hub online directory listing
- Free Associate membership of the NLCCE:
- regular NLCCE zoom webinars on key topics, including digital, HR, planning and finance
- use of the ‘Proud to be a member’ NLCCE logo on a business website/ literature
- access to member discounts on products and services
Enterprise Enfield’s CEO, Despina Johnson, says:
“Enterprise Enfield is committed to assisting businesses to survive and recover from the impact of this current crisis. Many owners have had to adapt and innovate in order to trade online - and many will need help in areas such as digital skills, planning, marketing, managing finances and cashflow.
“With our new North London Business Hub as well as our general business advice service and range of business support programmes (including our Inspiring Women Programme and Female Founders Accelerator) - which we will be offering from our new location- businesses will be able to tap into the help they need to move forward. We will also encourage and support new enterprises through our start up support services.”
