A resident living nearby recorded this footage of firemen extinguishing a vehicle fire at the junction of Lightcliffe Road and Park Avenue N13 in the early evening of 28th December.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly escaped unharmed, but a nearby resident who had come out of his house to investigate was taken ill. He received cardiac assistance from emergency services and was taken to hospital.
The intense blaze caused serious damage to four other cars that were parked at the junction.
