At the annual general meeting of the Winchmore Hill Residents Association later this month the entire management committee will be standing down. Whether or not the Association is able to continue will depend on fresh people putting themselves forward to join the committee.
The Association's AGM will be held in the Waterhouse Hall, Compton Road, at 7.30pm on 30th May. A notice issued by the management committee invites residents to nominate themselves at the meeting and states that
Sadly, if there are no nominations the committee will have no alternative but to turn the AGM to an Extraordinary General Meeting to ask member to accept the dissolution of WHRA.
WHRA has been in existence for more than sixty years. It covers an area bounded by Green Dragon Lane, Firs Lane, Hedge Lane, Bourne Hill and Oakwood Park.
