Yoriko Cole sitting in the Southgate Gallery in front of two of her paintings

Yoriko Cole is a Southgate based artist originally from Kyoto, Japan. She writes:

"I was always drawing and painting from a young age, but I did not have time or space to paint while working full time and raising a family. After leaving my job and recovering from illness I started painting seriously again in 2022. I enjoy learning old and new techniques, trying different media and experimenting with different styles."

The exhibition runs until Saturday 22nd February and can be viewed at any of the club opening times, and Yoriko will be present at the gallery on Sunday February 9th from 3.00pm to 6pm, if people wish to come along, view her work, meet the artist and enjoy a glass of wine.

(Regulars at St Harmonica's Blues Club might be interested to know that Yoriko is married to the house band's drummer, Les Cole.)
