The Enfield Over 50s Forum's "Fairer Funding for Enfield" petition has now been signed by 10,000 people:
“ A big, big Thank You to everyone who collected signatures to our petition seeking to end the years of Enfield being under-funded and treated as a second class borough.
"As soon as the General Election is over and we know who the Ministers are in the Treasury and the Department for Communities and Local Government we will be knocking on their door with the petition signed by some 10,000 people – over 1,600 of them online. This was the largest number of supporting signatures we have had for a Forum campaign and special thanks are due to a host of people for the time, persistence and diligence they showed in making the case for a better deal for Enfield into one that matches the special needs of our community.”
