Busy bees in Broomfield Park: what FoBP were up to during 2023 (Palmers Green Community 19 December 2023)
There'll be something for all the family at Firs Farm on 15th December, all in aid of raising money to buy a defibrillator for the Community Hub
The 'Go Slow' Cycling Project, currently raising funds via a crowdfunder, is designed to allow participants to take as long as they need, at minimal cost, on their personal journey towards switching to a healthier and more environmentally sustainable mode of transport.
Broomfield Park's volunteers have won five awards for their tremendous green-fingered efforts in the prestigious Enfield in Bloom competition.
Better Streets for Enfield invite you to join a free community walk and talk through two local parks, including a lunch stop at a park cafe that was recently relaunched.
The latest addition to the public amenities in Broomfield Park is a community chess table, located near the Palmers Greenery café and available for use without charge.
The announcement of two events scheduled for 23rd and 24th July at 101 Myddleton Road signals the reopening of a popular local cafe/bar after it was purchased by the community. The former Step, now rechristened Hillbilly Social at 101, will play host on Tuesday to Bowes Park Folk Club and on...

The deadline for responding to the Friends of Broomfield Park survey is this Saturday.
There's been a very good response to the Friends of Broomfield Park's survey - but they're keen to get the views of as many people as possible.
The Friends - a group of volunteers who do so much to improve the park and help local people - are in the process of planning their activities over the next year. To help do this, they've set up an online survey asking park visitors to identify what they like about the park... and what could be improved.
The survey deadline is the last day of February, and as 2024 is a leap year, you have one additional day to get your answers in. Don't miss out on this special offer!
