broomfield park runners Anja moved to PG from Brighton three months ago. She took up running and was hoping to join a local running club - but couldn't find one.

"I see so many runners and walkers when I go to Broomfield Park so I thought I'd just start a running club! I'm simply calling it the Broomfield Park Runnersand it's meant to be super informal, just a way to meet like-minded people and support each other on our running journey. I'm keen to include anyonewho wants to run, walk or otherwise move.

"I'm gonna start with meet-ups on Thursday mornings at 7.30am at the main gates at Aldermans Hill/Derwent Road and see how we go. I've made a WhatsApp Community for comms to people who are interested, you can find it here: bit.ly/broomfield-park-runners."

Amendment

This article was amended on 11th October to reflect the fact that the meetings will now be on Thursdays only, not Tuesdays and Thursdays.
