Are you a woman in Enfield, thinking about starting a business? Apply for the Inspiring Women Start Up Programme

Be empowered to start your own business in 2023 with help and support from Enterprise Enfield's nextInspiring Women Start Up Programmestarting in February 2023. The Programme is a FREE package of support,delivered over 6 months, designed to guide women in Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest, through the process of developing their ideas and starting a business. It’s all FREE as it is supported by local Enfield based charity, the RSA Trust.

Delivered through a series of webinars, seminars and 121 advice and guidance, the programme is an ideal opportunity to develop business skills, boost your confidence and get expert advice to get a new venture off to the right start. Participants will also meet and be supported by a group of like-minded women. The range of start up topics covered focuses on maximising participants’ potential to run a viable, sustainable and profitable business, which include:

• Exploring your Business Model
• Using social media
• Market research
• Understanding financial costs and expenses- how much is needed to make a profit
• Building confidence
• Personal and business wellbeing
• Understanding the legal requirements

Nadia Zammal joined the 2022 Inspiring Women Programme to get support with setting up a PR, Events and Representation Consultancy championing boutique vineyards, wineries and other boutique drinks brands. She said, "The course webinars, together with the Adviser’s guidance, have given me the structure and accountability I needed to give some "life" to my ideas. This was helped by the regular meetings, the detailed feedback on homework as well as the tools and tips given throughout the sessions ranging from legal guidance, practical marketing tools to rate calculators. In a nutshell it gave me a great structured starting point for my business together with heaps of confidence validating that I am on the right path with my new journey.”
