ukrainian symbols painted on a house doorAn organisation called London Aid for Ukraine is coordinating collection and dispatch of specified supplies to Ukraine.

Details of what to send and how to send it are available on their website.

It has a dispatch point in Enfield:

(Green and yellow sign: South Lodge Farm)

Opening hours are 08:00 to 19:00 Monday to Saturday.

However, you are asked not to phone unless absolutely necessary because they will be busy.

They use their own vehicles to transport materials to Lviv, from where it is distributed.

They only want medical and military supplies that are on the priority list - nothing from the Other Humanitarian category.

After the item about a Ukraine collection point in Enfield appeared last week, I was contacted by a reader with the following message:

Thanks for sharing details of the Ukraine Donation drop-off at South Lodge Farm in this week’s newsletter. I went yesterday to see if I could help pack/sort etc and to find out exactly what they still need from their list (as lots of places are getting stuff they have already or don’t need).

Anatoliy told me what they really need now is cash for larger, more expensive items to support the Territorial Defence Forces and they’ve a Just Giving Page for this. Do you think you could please share on Friday?
