Thanks for this response – albeit, disappointing news. Based on my experience of asking receiving information from Network Rail (or, e.g., local councils), I think your reading is probably right. They are unlikely to say, simply, we've ditched it.

Agreed! Fascinating films. I have been intrigued since I heard it described as Muswell Hill's 'lost' theatre which nobody seemed to know about. How can you lose a 1,500 seat theatre? Says something about the overall scale of Ally Pally.
