Screening in aid of the North London Hospice
Alba Rosa, is a gripping study of grief with a powerful central performance by Nicola Wright (Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, Sexy Beast (Paramount plus). Grace is struggling to come to terms with the violent death of her husband, Carter.
The couple were due to sell and leave their large generational home to travel. Now, Grace sinks into depression, pushing away her son, neighbour and therapist.
The screening will be followed by an in-person Q&A after the film, with the lead actress Nicola Wright, writer Tommy Kear, producer Jeffrey Salkilld and two representatives from the North London Hospice, Brenda (who provides one-to-one support for bereaved carers) and Simon (who is a spiritual care coordinator at North London Hospice, who will to give a perspective of supporting bereaved carers).
