Workshop for makers: Selling your work

Wednesday 23 October 1.30pm - 5.00pm

Forty Hall, Forty Hill, EN2 9HA

Selling your work at craft fairs, open studios, trade shows and other events

Shows and events are an exciting opportunity to introduce yourself and your designs to the world… They can be hard work and expensive so you want to make the most of them by being fully prepared.

Join this informative workshop led by Dan Maier of Extraordinary Design, who brings over 20 years of experience in the design and craft sector. What began in a neighbour’s bedroom flourished into a successful business, with Dan supplying some of the UK’s most renowned retailers and stores worldwide, along with an enviable client list. She has coached over 500 designer-makers, empowering them to improve the viability of their practices. In this session, Dan will share her insights and experience, making it a valuable opportunity for anyone looking to get the most out of taking part in selling events.

Whether you’re a newbie or been selling your work for a while, there will be plenty of useful tips to enhance your success.

All designer-makers, artists and local producers are welcome, but spaces are limited so priority will be given to those based in Enfield.

While we admire and support the Christmas campaigns that we see pop up in December, we also know that help is urgently needed all year round, each and every year. As some people pack away after the festive break, we are still here.

Our support is not limited to a food package, but it leaps beyond - we form connections, we listen and respond to everyone who steps through our doors. We open up a warm, safe, environment which aims to feel like a home away from home.

For us to continue to thrive and grow, and keep supporting as many people as possible, we are asking you to become a Friend of Cooking Champions. Even a donation of just £5-10 per month can make a HUGE impact on the lives of those who come through our doors.

Pop to our People's Fundraising page to donate, and we promise to keep you updated with how your support is making a difference. Thank you, we appreciate you! Team Cooking Champions
