TETC, holds ten monthly meetings across the year, usually on the first Tuesday of each month. However, when the first Tuesday, falls after a Bank Holiday - the meeting will move to the second Tuesday. All TETC meetings take place, in the First Floor, Meeting Room of the Enfield Drill Hall Sports Club (see pictures below), unless otherwise stated in TETC programme. TETC meetings, usually comprise of an illustrated presentation, on a transport or transport related subject - by Circle, Local and Nationally sourced speakers. There is a donation fee of: £6.00 paid on entry; with Visitors, first visit "Free". The fee covers, Room Hire, Speaker Costs, and other overheads. TETC, does not have a formal "Membership" structure as such. Meetings, start at 20:00 hours and close at 22:00 hours; and usually contain a refreshment interval (refreshments cost: £1.50); with a raffle usually held (which costs £1.00 to enter) - with transport and transport related Books/DVD's, being offered as prizes.

TETC, is a not-for-profit organisation - and as such any surpluses we do make, are used to make donations to various other transport groupings - which TETC supporters feel will benefit from them. Since 2014, TETC have made donations to the following organisations:

  • Bluebell Railway ('Cash for Cover' Appeal - Twice).
  • Churnet Valley Railway (on behalf of our late Chairman & Secretary: Roger Elkin - 2018).
  • East Anglian Railway Museum (2014).
  • Epping Ongar Railway ('North Weald Footbridge Fund' - 2015).
  • Swanage Railway (Twice).
  • The Postal Museum, London (2015).
