The Salon: Rehearsed Reading
THE SALON is a compelling play that delves into Miss Sherleen's courageous fight for survival and her battle to prove her citizenship in the face of impending deportation. Set in a vibrant Black British Caribbean hair salon, the multigenerational narrative unfolds as opinions collide, secrets unravel, and truths emerge at a significant cost. THE SALON, a hub of work, community, and solace, finds itself under threat, prompting a crucial question: can the resilient women rally to save both the shop and Miss Sherleen? THE SALON is a powerful testament to the unparalleled strength of Black women.
